Understanding Grit and Self-Esteem: Key Insights from “What Does It Mean to Have a ‘Bad Personality?’” – 095/100 –

Diary

I have finished reading the book, What Does It Mean to Have a ‘Bad Personality?’.

I was particularly interested in the section about ‘grit’, although it is not the main theme of this book. Grit is a personality trait that involves perseverance and determination. It is said that grit has a more positive effect on our achievements than IQ.

Additionally, the book argues that self-esteem is not a precursor to achievement; rather, it is built through accomplishment.

These two insights resonate with me deeply.
