Unemployment: day 50
Today I brought my son to a dentist. He temporally visits to a dentist because he tends to make tooth stones on his tooth. So he is cleaned his tooth per about one month. The dentist said that as the mouth’ pH is more alkalic the more tooth stones tend to be made.

Correct version
Today I took my son to the dentist. He visits the dentist regularly because he tends to develop tartar on his teeth. Therefore, his teeth are cleaned about once a month. The dentist explained that the more alkaline the mouth’s pH is, the more likely tartar is to form.
IELTS Improvement Points
Collocation:
take someone to the dentist
→ The correct collocation is “take [someone] to the dentist” (not “bring to a dentist”). In English, “bring” means to carry towards the speaker, while “take” means to accompany away from the speaker.
develop tartar
→ More natural than “make tooth stones”. “Tartar” is the correct dental term for hardened plaque. “Develop” is commonly used with medical/dental conditions.
have one’s teeth cleaned
→ The idiomatic way to say “be cleaned his tooth”. For example: I have my teeth cleaned every six months.
Template:
The more [adjective/noun], the more [result].
→ Example: The more exercise you do, the healthier you become. A strong comparative structure often rewarded in IELTS Writing Task 2.
[Subject] tends to [verb] because [reason].
→ Useful structure to show cause-effect logically. Example: He tends to gain weight because he eats late at night.
Vocabulary:
regularly
→ More precise than “temporally visits”. Means “at fixed intervals”. Example: She exercises regularly.
tartar
→ The correct word for “tooth stones”. Using precise scientific/medical vocabulary improves lexical resource.
alkaline
→ Correct adjective form (not “alkalic”). “Alkaline” is used to describe substances with pH above 7. Example: Alkaline water is less acidic than tap water.
