3. How to Mount Without Studs
a. Understanding Wall Structure
Most wooden homes have plasterboard attached to 2×4 studs. The bracket needs to be fixed to those internal wooden beams.
b. Finding the Studs
- Use small neodymium magnets to detect screws
- Trace vertically to identify the stud center
- Normally spaced every 60–70cm

c. Mounting Procedure
- Mark the screw holes
- Use an awl and drill for pilot holes
- Secure the bracket with screws
- Attach the backplate to the TV
- Connect the arm and hang the TV
Total Time: Around 2 hours (2 adults recommended)
